MEET AMBROSIA
Ambrosia supports prenatal and postpartum people through their birthing experience and integration period with a variety of doula services. It is Ambrosia’s commitment to creating a safe space powered by aligned guidance and education for birthing people and their partners to navigate the journey of growing a family. Since launching her childbirth services in 2016, Ambrosia has served hundreds of families as a birth and postpartum doula. Prior to taking on her role of childbirth educator and postpartum nurturer, Ambrosia served as a surrogate for a family overseas.
“I watched her breathe her first breath as a mother. I saw the face of a woman who saw her baby for the very first time. At that very moment, I was reborn. That’s when I truly understood what a gift it is to give.”
Married for nineteen years, Ambrosia and her husband raise two children, 10 and 16, in Arvada, Colorado. Family trips, camping adventures, and skiing bring a beautiful balance into her life. She also spends time volunteering as a labor doula and educator for teen mothers. She has been an Evidence Based Birth® in the past but is currently studying with The Midwives College of Utah and will be working as a Student Midwife in the Spring of 2023!
Ambrosia is a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Lactation Education Specialist, and Childbirth Educator. She is also a Full Spectrum Doula and is supportive of all birth outcomes. Ambrosia has been recognized as South Bay’s Favorite through Daily Breeze in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
